What a beautiful morning we had at Pitt Street Bridge for our sunrise session!  And I can’t get enough of Braxton’s gummy smile 🙂

Charleston Photo Session: DuBose Family

Sometimes cloudy days are the best days for photos!  It started sprinkling at our Pitt St Bridge shoot in Mt Pleasant but it didn’t put a damper on our session.  I was loving the pretty, even light and marshy views. (And trying to keep the kids OUT of the marsh!) 🙂

Charleston Senior Photo Session: Lindsay & Holly

Love this best friend double senior shoot!  These ladies showed some commitment by driving from North Carolina to meet me in downtown Charleston for their shoot.  After our session was over two(ish) hours later they hopped in the car to head back!  What’s fun on shoots like this is seeing a transformation take place during our time together.  The girls showed up unsure and feeling a little awkward in front of the camera (let’s be honest, who doesn’t??) but by the end of the shoot they were laughing and coming up with poses and feeling more confident and comfortable.  I love that!

Shoot Locations

Charleston is not lacking in the beautiful scenery department.  If you’re trying to decide on a location for your session take a look at some options below where I’ve done shoots!  If you have a good lighting situation going on at your home we can do our session there.  The only shoots I do indoors are newborn sessions (and I’ve done those outdoors as well).  We are, of course, not limited to these locations but I hope they will help point you in the right direction.

Roman’s First Birthday

This handsome little guy is one!  Tyler, Stacy and Roman met me out at Pitt Street Bridge for our session.  It was a beautiful morning – well, everything except the no-see-ums that ate us alive!  Check out the “one year later photos” below.  We took photos at the same spot we did Tyler and Stacy’s maternity shoot.  Love!

Meredith & Monroe

These two are partners in crime!  Meredith won my fall Instagram promotion and received $100 off her family shoot.  We then got to spend an hour and a half chasing Monroe around Pitt Street Bridge 🙂  She’s quite the diva and such a sweetheart!  One of my favorite parts of this job is making connections with clients who, under normal circumstances, I never would have met.

Had trouble choosing my favorites for this one…
