Charleston, SC Maternity Session: Davis Family

I’ve been photographing the Davis family since April of 2015 when they were pregnant with Eleanor!  It’s a privilege to watch this family grow.  Can’t wait to take pics of baby #3 this fall!

Charleston, SC Photo Session: Wells Family

Wyatt is TWO! And he’s such a special kiddo that his family came all the way from California to celebrate him 🙂  The break between June thunderstorms lends itself to beautiful light that photographers dream about!  We had a perfect cloudy night on Pitt Street Bridge for a family portrait session.

Charleston, SC Photo Session: Chung Family

This little guy!  He made me belly laugh through most of our photo session. (I left out the photos of his shorts falling down!)  The Chung family was visiting Charleston from Boston and we visited Pitt Street Bridge and Isle of Palms for our session to mix things up and include some different backgrounds.  At the end of our session Matty melted my heart with, “The next time I see you, when you come to Boston, we’ll take pictures together.  I have a blue camera with yellow buttons, it’s a rectangle!”

Charleston Photo Session: DuBose Family

Sometimes cloudy days are the best days for photos!  It started sprinkling at our Pitt St Bridge shoot in Mt Pleasant but it didn’t put a damper on our session.  I was loving the pretty, even light and marshy views. (And trying to keep the kids OUT of the marsh!) 🙂

Charleston Senior Photo Session: Lindsay & Holly

Love this best friend double senior shoot!  These ladies showed some commitment by driving from North Carolina to meet me in downtown Charleston for their shoot.  After our session was over two(ish) hours later they hopped in the car to head back!  What’s fun on shoots like this is seeing a transformation take place during our time together.  The girls showed up unsure and feeling a little awkward in front of the camera (let’s be honest, who doesn’t??) but by the end of the shoot they were laughing and coming up with poses and feeling more confident and comfortable.  I love that!
