Okay, can we just talk for a minute about how this image of William and Nora is one of my favorites ever?? Fast forward four years and look how big they are now!
We took these images while Grandma and Grandpa were visiting and it was such a joy to watch them all interact. The love they all have for each other is so apparent (so is the silliness)! I won’t tell you what was happening behind my back to get some of these genuine smiles. Although, I’m not even 100% sure what was going on back there…. 🙂
Bonus: Bella the bulldog made an appearance!
I’d love to work with you and your family! If you’d like to book a photo session with me please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can chat!
I shot this family session while I was home early in July. This is one of my besties, MJ, who I went to high school with. We played lacrosse together in high school and went on many camp trips with Young Life. We attended college at SUNY Potsdam (about 30 minutes from Canada, brr). SO many good memories there.
The summer before I moved to Charleston (in 2007) MJ and I went on a whirlwind trip of Europe. It was the first time either of us had been out of the country so we broke in our new passports! We went to 8 countries in 12 days and loved every single minute of it. We met friends from all over the world, saw the Austrian and Swiss Alps, rode a gondola in Venice, drank too much wine in Florence, and ate baguettes in front of the Eiffel Tower (we’re okay with being cliche). That trip gave us both a bad case of wanderlust. Now we’re both addicted to traveling!
When she comes to visit me in Charleston I know I need to save some money up because this girl LOVES trying new restaurants. We usually do progressive dinners when she’s here so we can hit up as many places as possible. I’m not going to argue with that. . . MJ is one of the most thoughtful people I know. She cares for others and is the first to offer help when you need it. So thankful for our time in New York this past trip and am looking forward to the next visit!
Three posts ago I posted photos of a Thomas family. Jay and Paul are brothers. Jay and Emelie referred me to Paul and Meredith. Love that! I enjoyed my time at the battery with this fun family. Graham lived up to his “Graham the Ham” nickname and totally worked the camera! The Goldfish crackers didn’t hurt either 😉
Had the privilege of doing a shoot with Ashley & Cooper (Cooper’s the one with the underbite!) Ashley and I laughed a lot!!… She sent the photos for Valentine’s Day to her husband, Zach, who is on a 6 month deployment. The Ohio State red is very fitting for the holiday! Thank you Zach and Ashley for the sacrifices you make to serve our country!!
