Charleston, SC Photo Session: Hlavacek Family

Boys will be boys!  My friend Katie asked me to come to her home to take some photos of her family in their element.  Some look at the camera and smile ones but also some playful, giggly, running around the yard ones 🙂

Charleston, SC Photo Session: Holton Family

Here’s a change of pace for me – all adults who listen to everything I say!  I don’t have to put on a show for smiles and everyone was perfect at following directions 🙂  Jake and Rebecca also had a fun announcement…!

I just love photographing these pretty girls!  I have taken their photos 4 times now and they are so polite and kind and give me ideas for poses 🙂  We had some perfect morning light for our session at Smythe Park on Daniel Island.

Charleston, SC Photo Session: Weston Family

I loved running around Waterfront Park in downtown Charleston with these lovely ladies!  It was a joy to watch this family interact with one another.  You can feel the love they have for one another through these images!

Charleston, SC Photo Session: Beech Family

Danny is a bit outnumbered but he doesn’t seem to mind!  These three little ladies were busy and it was so fun to photograph them as we played at the Battery and on Church Street in downtown Charleston!

Charleston, SC Photo Session: Albright Family

This was a special photo shoot for a few reasons!  Linda, in the middle, was gifted this session from her friends.  They wanted Linda to have photos of her sons and her grands taken when they all came into town for Christmas.  The family on the left came from Orlando and the group on the right traveled from Sweden and at this point they were 24 hours into trying to beat jet lag, ha!  And it was my last shoot of 2018!  We took these images at Palmetto Island County Park three days before Christmas.  What a great way to end the year!

2018 Wrap Up!

2018 was a big year for Melissa Griffin Photography!  Before I begin thinking about resolutions and goals for 2019 (I’m a type A and love January!) I wanted to look back on personal and professional highlights from the last 12 months.  I’m so grateful!

Me in my element leading a Photo 101 class in January.  I really enjoy teaching so more to come in 2019!  IMG_0832IMG_0831
