Do you have a fancy camera that you bought with good intentions of using but you have no idea what all of those buttons do? So you just use your iPhone camera instead?? Let me help! I have a background in art education and LOVE teaching people how to take better photos… especially photos of their friends and family.
Who. You! If you get overwhelmed by the buttons on your camera but want to learn how to use your DSLR camera to take better photos then you’re invited! Space is limited.
What. I’ll focus on teaching you about finding light and some of the important settings on your DSLR camera! You’ll learn the basics of photography – exposure, shutter speed, aperture and ISO. People who have taken this course with me can shoot in manual mode by the end. I’ll have snacks and drinks for you to enjoy as you learn. Plus, everyone who attends will be entered to win a FREE mini shoot with me! You’ll also receive resources that I’ve created to refer to as you practice.
When. This year you can choose from two time slots:
Thursday, January 31 at 7:00-8:30pm (wine and snacks included)
Saturday, February 2nd at 9:30-11:00am (mimosas and brunch snacks included)
Where. My friend’s home in North Charleston. I’ll email the address to those that sign up!
Why. You won’t regret gaining the skills to take amazing photos of your friends and family to enjoy! It makes taking photos a lot more fun when you know what you’re doing. I’ll have a mini session giveaway! And… did I mention wine and mimosas?
Cost. $25/person. You’ll see instructions when you register.
Click on one of the buttons below to sign up. Please bring a friend! (Just have them register!)
If you can’t make this event but want to learn about photography (or want to go deeper after you attend) I offer one-on-one lessons. Just email me to get more info and we’ll customize a lesson for you!
