Each year I photograph the Rains and Reagan families back to back which allows for some overlap time to get images of the whole crew and allll of the kids together! Last year one of them ran away from the kiddo shot in tears so I think this year was a step in the right direction!

Ben has always been a super joyful, energetic kiddo who keeps me on my toes at every session! He did great at this shoot – I LOVE the ones with him and his parents individually. Their fun and silly sides came out!

This was an extra special newborn session for me! I met Kelly about 10 years ago when I moved to Charleston. I appreciate her friendship so much – she’s thoughtful, intentional, laid back and fun. We now live three hours away but that really makes no difference. A couple of months go by and she says, “Let’s get a date on the calendar for our next visit!” She and Kevin welcomed sweet Audrey to the world this month so I took a trip to Greenville do photograph their best girl! What a sweet little peanut she is! I look forward to many more photo sessions with this family (even if Kevin continues to cheese it up with his poses!) I love that the grandparents stopped by so we could grab some quick shots with them, too.
Yours truly snuck a shot in for this special session! (I was just praying Kevin didn’t drop my camera) 🙂

Collins is ONE! And to celebrate we photographed her smashing a cake. Although “smashing” is a strong word for her. She was very dainty about it! Collins was one of my most expressive little newborns and not much has changed! And that last photo of her in a cake coma…!
Sugar coma… 🙂

Anna wanted some backgrounds that were different than where she lives in Brooklyn. I think we accomplished that here! We had our session at two of my favorite places in Charleston – the spanish moss covered trees at Hampton Park and Folly Beach. Maxine did an amazing job hamming it up for me! Side note: it’s the first session I’ve ever seen a dolphin (swimming) AND a shark (caught by someone on the beach, yikes!)
I’d love to work with you and your family! Email me at email@example.com to book!
The Serago clan has a new member of the family since I’ve seen them last! I got to meet Alexander for the first time on this early morning session at the Isle of Palms pier. I love this location and time of the day to get that pretty, glowy, yellow light!

I love the vibe of an extended family session when everyone is relaxed on vacation and the cousins get to play with one another. Everyone’s happy to be together and my job is to convince the guys that family photos is exactly how they want to spend a couple of hours on their week off, ha! Love that this family brought beach balls to play with – in 7 years of business that’s, surprisingly, the first time a family has done that! So your thoughts – does the family photo with the beach balls look like an Old Navy ad?? 🙂
