I assisted Wild Cotton Photography at this BEEEA-U-TIFUL Charleston wedding at the Gadsden House downtown. Always a pleasure second shooting for Aly! So many lovely things about this wedding – the light, the people, the setting. Pretty much a photographer’s dream 🙂
I’ve been patiently holding on to these bridal portraits of my friend Mandy until now! She and Matt got engaged in February and married last night! Now I can share these images of my beautiful friend with you!
Mandy and I took a mini road trip to the Old Sheldon Church Ruins in Beaufort County one evening. The most challenging part of the whole adventure was getting her wedding dress on outside of my car while I held up a sheet to block her from the SCDOT’s view. The hour and a half trip and fire ant bites were worth it to get these gorgeous images!
I had the privilege of meeting Chris and Myra and documenting their big day! These are two of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. Their small beach wedding was so joyful and fun. Grateful for my friend Leah from Leah’s Opus Photography for second shooting!
Leah and I have worked together (both at our old 9-5 jobs and photo stuff) for a few years now and I was THRILLED to take photos of her little peanut, Liesel. She’ll have to get used to being photographed because her mama is a super talented photographer! Evie is looking much happier here than in the photo I posted on Instagram after the shoot! Head over heels…
How sweet is this little Georgia redneck wedding?? (The bride and groom called it that!) I had the privilege of taking photos of my cousin’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. Our family had a great time catching up and I had a great time capturing these memories with my camera! During the ceremony the pastor said, “You know God is behind this because Erin is from New York and Kevin…you’re as country as cornbread.” True story.
So happy for you two! Congratulations! ❤
Erica and I are bonded for life after rooming together for a week on a trip to Kolkata, India in 2011. She is sweet, kind-hearted and really cares for people. She’s always looking for ways to help others. It was an honor to capture Drew and Erica’s big day! Thanks to Leah Melchers for being my second shooter!
Beautiful bride This is BEFORE the ceremony – resulting in all of us yelling at Drew to keep those eyes closed! The grooms reaction to his bride is always one of my favorite moments to capture!
Making it official! Had to include Olive in the first family portraits! Watch out for those gators, Olive!
