Charleston “Welcome Home!” Photo Session

Is anyone else in need of a little GOOD news?  Guys.  I couldn’t wait to share these photos with you.  I’ve been looking at them for a couple of weeks now and they still make me tear up.  This is my first adoption homecoming session.  I was honored to be a small part of the day these parents brought their sweet daughter home from China to meet her two big sisters and grandparents.

I love adoption stories.  It’s the message of the Bible lived out.  The little one being adopted into this family has done nothing to earn her place in this family.  But she is met with unconditional love.  Welcomed into the family with open arms and adored so much already.

This family had committed themselves to defending orphans.  Isaiah 1:17 says, “…learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless…”

The love in these photos is so tangible.  You can feel it!  Homemade signs created with love.  Grandpa waiting with his camera in anticipation.  Happy, joy-filled tears.  Lots of smiles.  Lots of hugs and kisses.  Holding hands.  Adoring looks.  Unconditional love.
